Elysa is thrilled to be returning to her hometown to practice family law, criminal law and general litigation. Elysa has spent the bulk of her career in a courtroom fighting for her clients rights or negotiating with opposing counsel to obtain the most cost effective result for her client.
When acting for clients, Elysa identifies the problem and crafts cost-efficient and equitable solutions. She understands that each client presents a unique problem and typically is experiencing uncertainty and stress and will work with that client through the complicated litigation matters to achieve their desired result.
Elysa’s knowledge and understanding of the law comes from handling a high volume of matters ranging from amicable separation agreements to bountiful courtroom experience and practicing as both a crown prosecutor and defence counsel.
In Elysa’s free time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading novels, yoga, skiing, reading Marvel comics, and playing board games.
